Prof. Dr. Necdet Özçay is a specialist in General Surgery and Gastroenterological Surgery. He completed his General Surgery training at Ankara Numune Hospital in 1994 and his Gastroenterological Surgery training at Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hospital in 2000. He became a professor in 2018. His academic work includes organ transplantation and digestive system surgery. He currently practises at VM Medical Park Ankara (Keçiören).
His international training and research experience includes Western Ontario in Canada, Northwestern in the United States and Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Transplantation research forms part of his academic background.
